There's a new type of activism that I have been participating in which could be the real key to getting individuals working and cure the earth. It's called "permaculture". Permaculture is about taking good care of the earth, for each other as well as the future of our little ones
It's really down to rebuilding the "nature of all living creatures" to a way that nature was meant for. It is about teaching our own local communities, foods production techniques as well as power sources based on the manner in which mother nature functions. It's really a strategy to grow our own economic climate in a practical method that can support all of us along with the earth. It is not a fresh concept, but it was practiced when people had to rely on their self-reliance for foods and protection without the technological know-how that we have right now.
I really believe we require a new type of activism to turn around the economy and create peace and harmony for our people, communities and the world. Transforming our front lawns into a lawn would get the interest of our neighbors, who'd be arriving to find out what we are going to do. This is a teachable moment and before you could blink your eyes; others will be following with your steps. It is furthermore a tool to make the community and very quickly the area may become a sustainable home that provides the requirements of the families living there.

Permaculture gives us a new point of view about how we are able to regrow life from the obstacle of climate change to making new jobs. It might all begin with simply putting in a garden, making the homes more energy-efficiency by utilizing the sun's rays and wind power, preserving rain water from our roofs and controlling its circulation around the land and discussing with our friends, neighbors and communities resources with no reproducing them.
Permaculture is a completely new design for living using the simple principle that all things on the earth are linked with one another. It's really a form of interacting with nature even in the tiniest way. Permaculture is a solution to develop self-sufficient communities, reducing our reliance upon commercial systems to support our own requirements. It creates living systems using the designs found in nature and cuts out waste. It's the harmonious integration of landscape and individuals supplying food, energy, protection, along with other requirements in a lasting manner. With no long lasting agriculture there is no chance of a well balanced public order.
